in the first example with the PD4655 and two AGMs same type as the second example AGMs only 6CTs insterad of 4CTs, it looks like the situation is "in error" because it does not match our expectations from AGMs having a lower R than Wets. The second example matches our expectations, so we think it is not in error.
The difference between the two examples boils down to how their chargers are connected to their batteries. The PD and the Magnum appear to be operating correctly and they are both with the same Lifeline 6v type of battery. That leaves the wiring etc.
If the first example has extra R in its connections between charger and battery, that will appear to the charger as higher R same as if the battery itself has higher R.
ah64id gives a detailed description of his wiring and connections set up.
https://mopar1973man.com/topic/8408-pd4655-converter-charging-graph/ I wonder if there is some evidence in that which people here could maybe spot to support my theory it must have higher R than it should.
Any ideas? Thanks.
