I totally agree with smkettner on the wires.
Reviews are mixed on the HF mini compressor. Seems like the unhappy one just fired it up. The happy one lubed it before starting. It's a tiny pump, so I can understand needing to take care of it. I have two HF compressors that are 15 and 10 years old. I run them hard and they keep working. One did need a new check valve, but I found a replacement on eBay for $15. Lots of folks poo-poo ANYTHING from HF, but I have bought some of my favorite tools from them and I have Mac, Snap-On and old school Craftsman gear in the mix.
You need to know how to recognize good tools and HF can be a gold mine.
edit - I just looked at the MV-50. 2.54 CFM and it's $56. That is the best looking value right there.
