DO NOT CRANK THEM TIGHT. No more that one turn should do it.
Yes there is a "drain line" of sorts for the drip pan under the evaporator coils that goes out into the lower A/C pan and then there are holes in that where the water drains out onto the roof. To fully access this area you have to remove the outside top A/C shroud and then the metal cover over the Evaporator coils. Below are a series of pics showing these areas (note: this is for a Dometic A/C, but others should be similiar AFAIK) ....

Pic of Evaporator coil with cover off and you can see the white "U" shaped drain line in the lower right side on the bottom of the Evaporator coil pan. If your Evap coil looks like mine with the "JUNK" on it now is a good time to clean the Evap coils. I used a vacuum and a paint brush to remove the debris on the coils ... just don't bend or damage them and they IIRC even have a cleaner to get any grime and dirt off the actual fins, but that's a fairly involved job since the area below the Evap coils go directly into the trailer or into the air plenum on the exhaust side of the Evap coils and you don't want water or liquid to go everywhere. The side you are seeing is the intake side of the Evap coils where air is drawn from inside the trailer thru the filter in the ceiling then flows over the coils and the cooled air exhausts into the air plenum and into the ducts for ducted systems or directly back into the trailer for the direct type A/C systems.
Close up of drain line and drain hole in bottom section of A/C shroud that goes onto the roof and this is outside the A/C gasket that seals the lower shrould to the roof to prevent water on the roof from getting into the inside of the trailer.
