Air Ride Seat in F350

At the local Ford Truck dealer a few weeks ago and there was a sign in the parts department saying add an air ride seat to F-350 & 450 for $695. I think, didn't really pay any attention to it.

The OP is clearly talking about an air ride SEAT. Why is almost everyone talking about suspensions? Did I miss something? I too am interested in prior experiences in seat upgrades. My Lariat seats are pretty good and your King Ranch are even better. If you find something for yours, it'll prolly fit mine too.

Yes I installed them myself. EASY

I can put Airlift on for 500 and they are the best. Lifetime Guarantee and about 2 hr to install yourself. You can get Firestone air shocks for the front, About 500 also. Before the correct police attack F250/F350 are the same.

Riding in my air ride motorhome with air ride seats is absolutely fantastic!

I can't help but think it would help a HD pickup.

Air Ride Seats - towing or not?

IMO - the key question you asked is, "Does it help you stay 'in the saddle' longer?'

Suggest you visit one of the several dedicated Ford (diesel or gas) forums. You should find folks who have installed air ride seats.

Can't speak for the Ford forums, but adding air ride seats was a topic on TDR and other (Dodge) forums).
Guys came up with the best air ride seat 'option', and were very pleased with the results.

Surprised at a comment by a "big rig" driver who wasn't impressed with his air ride seats! Yikes - they're "SOP".

For HDT (heavy Duty Truck) towing comfort - visit the Escapees HDT or MDT forums. (folks towing heavy 5th wheel trailers)

Most HDT's have air ride cabs to begin with, but owners still add air ride seats.

"Iron Butt" is for long distance M/C riders who love it for the enjoyment of same!..:W

I didn't install mine. Truck was at alignment shop for other work and just had them install while they had it.

Nahh. You can get a Kelderman stg2 for $1600 which changes the rear shackle to airbag, or for $4k you can get a full 4 link air ride set up for the rear.
