The part that goes through the roof, This is the duct adapter and the same is used for both sizes. This part may include electronics and or controls

Optional 5th part: Adapt-a-kit because Carrier was the OEM. - All roof top RV AC holes are 14.5 inches square. Been that way for more than 50 years. Doug
- Itakethe5th2011ExplorerBefore you add a second AC, check out RV Airflow System. It will boost the ac duct output by 40-50%. I just installed one, but it hasn't been hot enough to really see how much faster rv cools down. I did turn fan on and the air coming out of ducts is much much better.
