CHECK NEMA NOT NEC.
The AL/CU issue should focus on bulletproof connections and both NEC and NEMA disallow mere copper cladding of AL conductor. Copper clad conductor must be tinned. Reminds me if I get serious about using AL/CU to rig up a solder pot and get a few bars of tin. No electroplating. Hot dip.
One problem with Hwang Ho wire. They lie like a dog about wire size, then to make the lie less apparent, they clad the wire with extra thick insulation. Less BTU LOSS. USE ONE SIZE LARGER wire. How critical is this? Ever see Romex inside of EMT? It violates code - prohibited for a good reason.
