Better pick up a couple quarts of whatever fluid you need (I think the Ally takes a different fluid than the GM standard Dexron VI)so you can keep 'er topped off while you decide what to do.
As a point of reference, my 2006 D/A and my current 2013 both use Dexron VI. Check your owners manual but I believe your 2007 would also use it. Your 2007 falls with the years of the leaking transmission lines. As another poster stated, the leak would eventually build up on the skid plate and then drip. Really a nuisance since the transmission lines seemed only to "sweat" than leak.
