Alternative Megawatt Shutoff Timer (link)
Rather than ignore the fact some folks are waiting for a timer, I decided (as usual) to be bullheaded and go looking...
I found a 2-4-6-8 hour selectable timer on eBay that plugs into a wall socket, extension cord, whatever.
The Megawatt charger comes with screw terminals with clear I.D. markings. Think you can handle connecting a three-wire cord pigtail to this? A pigtail has a plug on the other end that plugs into the timer just like any other extension or power lead cord.
Yep, it is 2-4-6-8 hour selectable. Click-click-click. No wind up.
But set the Megawatt to 14.8 volts and try 2 hours. If extra time ends up being needed next time select 4 hours.
Fourteen point eight volts ain't gonna hurt a battery if applied for an hour-and-a-half too long. If you simply cannot bear the thought, back the Megawatt voltage LIMIT down to 14.6 volts or 14.5 volts.
Goop or Silicone the 120 volt Megawatt connection tabs to eliminate the possibility of having your hair accidentally stand on end.
And TEN AWG battery cable connection is fine for 36 amps.
Go for it...

Home Depot has 14 or 16 gauge THREE WIRE 120vac pigtails in various lengths, up the yingyang. BLACK = HOT (line) WHITE = NEUTRAL. GREEN = EARTH GROUND. Connections are primary school challenging easy to ID and connect on the Megawatt.
I won't let an "automatic smart charger" cross my threshold...
