Altitude adjustment on Onan 5500 generator - question

The altitude adjustment on my Onan 4kw generator on my previous class C allowed for a setting up to 10,000 feet. The Onan 5500 on my new class A only allows adjustment to 5,000 feet. Is this normal or...

Interesting....so does the 10,000 not exist anymore? I really objected to my carb being replaced with a 'lesser' model.
