Also, with solar you can run the electric kettle and let solar make up the missing AH instead of burning propane using the stove top. This can be more convenient than going to get the propane refilled so often. Lots of factors by individual situation.
If you are camping where you are needing to run the furnace very much then the small amount of stove top propane consumption is not going to matter. In addition the waste heat from the stove top will help heat the trailer.
