So many people post how they camp with minimum use of battery or whatever. Not sure if they think that's good or if it is just what they have to put up with.
In case of the latter, the fact is you can add just a little to your set-up and it changes everything. You go from being able to last a long weekend to being able to last months (for electric--you still need water and sani somehow or other--and there are ways to deal with that too)
For example only- each rig has its own physical opportunities for setting it up- here is how ours works for being a summer cottage from mid-April till end September. Almost like full-timing in a way. This was last year's and it worked great. Similar this year, with the same items, but shuffled around a bit.
Like Mena said above, we have no problems using microwave, kettle, and toaster, etc as much as we want. We do kitchen things pretty much the same as at home.
Not suggesting this is a better way to RV than anybody else's way. Just showing what you can do with not much more equipment.
