I agree, anyone using 12v for what can be done w/ propane deserves all the batt problems they can get.
I never ever heard of a coffee maker drawing even 1300 watts.
Something is wrong. We ran our microvave (2-3 min) for several years on a 1500 prowatt, on 2 interstate 6v (230 AH) and never a problem. And the batteries were 9 yrs old when we sold.
