Yes, the more 6Vs you use it will spread out the Amp load across each battery until then the Volt drop is better controlled. Basically what you have done is turn a high Amp draw into a low Amp draw by adding weight. The result is you have a large bank that can run a furnace fan for forever! :)
Are you aware that AGM batteries start out with a .2V head start, or 12.8+ fully charged? This alone helps delay the LVD of your inverter. Also, AGM loves to give up higher Amps with less Volt drop. These two factors point to AGMs when an inverter is in play. You get less weight and a more balanced system. I say, "Don't bring 6V GCs to an inverter fight!".
Some say you get the "most bang for the buck" with wet 6Vs, but this has yet to be proven.
I believe it is cheaper to own AGM and am ready to prove it. I can't do that unless someone with wets is willing to engage in a comparison. I have asked for this several times over more than a year with no takers.
