My suggestion is for a "hands-off" abandoned for the season RV. Human intelligence is far superior than even the best guesswork. Find the lowest cell in the bank. Every bank has "The Weak Sister". This is the whipping dipping post for your hydrometer. If the hydrometer dip shows full density temperature compensated, Forget the weekly top charge and do it monthly. My comment is based upon the fact that once a month timers are not easy to find (or are they?).
Weekly topcharging will not shorten battery life in an amount that is rationally judged. But it is sort of nuts to do it if it is actually not needed. The monthly one shot timer issue is the lynchpin in my suggestion. Weird timers are not worth the extra money. A weekly timer from Big Lots is good enough.
The hard part comes with tapping one's foot waiting to see how long it takes to have the voltage rise to 15.0
Simply dial in that load time for a once a week shot.
Timers can be God's gift to battery charging. For manual operation I love spring wound timers for one shot use.
