What if the battery is left at 30% to 50% charged long term in storage? Very bad for lead-acid and a non-issue for lithium.
Also a non issue for SiO2.
As a plus, the SiO2 can be charged to 100% and then has 24 months of storage before wanting a charge.
Li doesn't like full charge and and then storage.
