another norcold problem

I posted last week about this, but need more help.
N 512 was working fine last trip. Put the TT away and turned it off with eyebrow switch.
Sat for about 6 weeks. Upon attempting to restart, no lights on optical display.
Ran through all tests from manuals to no avail. I had power to the control board but not at the display, so I suspected the switch.
I replaced the control overlay with switches, no change. next guess, the control circuit board. Just put the new on in and same thing.
The floor of the freezer is definitely cold. I assume this means it went into limp mode.
I did a cold restart, but no change.
All my manuals are at my office. does anyone here know how to get it off limp mode, or does it sound like something else.
Sorry so long, but I wanted to give all pertinent info.
I appreciate any help or experience. We are supposed to be going out soon, so if I need another part, I still have time.
Thank you for any help you can give.

  • Did you look at that whole manual? The second part is power inputs to the boards- nothing to do with built in diagnostics. That isn't the N5xx manual.
  • Yes I did. I don't have that manual here right now.
I went through the whole process with an electrical engineer friend.
We got to the point where it says to run a self diagnostic.
    First step turn on refrigerator.
I can't turn on the ref. That is the whole problem.
I'm hoping someone here has had a similar problem.
If not, I guess I buy the power board and try that.
I'll feel pretty dumb if put $300 worth of parts in it, to find out it is stuck in limp, and there was an easy fix.
If I replace the power board and it works, The $300 was worth it, and I shouldn't have any more problems for a year or two.
