Here is the diagnosis, I started out checking if voltage was getting to the head. 4.xx volts. SO I went inside and took out the wall switch plate and checked for voltage to the coax, 13.xx so that was good. Up to the roof and had to dig out the cable connection at the roof of an inch of dicore. Sure enough it was barely tight and after tightening it up and checking voltage at the head again all was well. Went in and turned on the TV and I am stunned to get.....35 channels. All I could ever get here was 4 to 6 so that connection has never been tight. Thank you all for your suggestions and the help.
