it is and it isn't you have the Victron stuff to see how many AH have gone in or out of the battery if you want to be able to change your BMS settings on the fly then ya, but if the battery doesn't allow changes but only monitoring through Bluetooth then it's pointless when you already have the Victron setup.
so you have to look at the battery you want, download their app and see what you can do and can't before you decide. if it will allow you to make changes to max and min charge points and other things then it is useful, that is if you want to learn more and make these changes. if you don't then you don't need it.
My question to you is, when you have the Victron setup and a shunt.... What are you using the multimeter for?
