For softies like us who only use full service CGs and are plugged in at home, I see that it doesn't make sense to spend more on new AGMs and new converter with little gained electrically.
What I do like is being able to install them inside. I have a perfect spot set aside for one, maybe two if I ever want. Losing the battery box from the A-frame would make space for a new storage box which would really help us as there isn't a good spot for storing "dirty" stuff like sewer fittings, chocks, black tank flusher hose, etc. I also don't like the wiring splices and mini circuit breakers in the A-frame where they're exposed to the elements. Not sure what's involved in re-routing wiring if the battery is moved elsewhere and the enclosed underbelly doesn't help either.
