I have 160 ah of AGMs for tenting, and flooded costco cheapo batts for my TT. One of the reasons I use cheap batts on my TT is the tendency for tongue-mounted batteries to get up and walk away, as some of mine did recently. At $70 each, it's not the end of the world.
For that reason if I were to get AGMs for my TT I would mount them in the forward storage area. My personal experience with AGMs is that they are as safe as advertised for indoor use.
If the OP is comfortable with spending the extra money for AGMs, I am confident he will be happy with the performance, as I am. But think hard about the extra money, because the best you're going to do is break even on the longer expected service life.
For AGMs I would look for a better charger. The WFCO has a checkered rep at best, and if it's old that's a good enough reason to replace it.
