Anyone have a trick for city water intake valve?

Had a small drip from the hose at the city water inlet. The above 90 degree brass fitting took care of that. I make sure to have as little weight as possible be on there, just the hose.

On the hose bib, I always use a two way brass "Y" splitter, with the junction going to city water having a pressure regulator on it. This allows me to have city water, but have water for other tasks if I need on the outside.
