Look at how much an interstate flooded battery weighs then compare that to an Odyssey or Lifeline. How much lighter is your "Power Star"? This should be the first step in comparing batteries. Lighter weight and high CCA means paper thin plates. The weight versus CCA is a crucial value when evaluating ANY battery for cyclability. I would think even a heavy 24-AGM should not have more than 700 CCA and be labeled a cyclable battery. Good cyclable AGM batteries have positive plate thickness in excess of .090"
