Aqua Magic IV cleaning

Question

I have noticed that there is a cavity underneath the slide valve to flush the toilet that collects a considerable amount of fecal matter.  There is mold and mildew and smell! Any suggestions on cleaning products and perhaps a better toilet solution that does not have this inaccessible cavity?  I removed the toilet to replace the flush valve (after it spewed water everywhere for a few minutes) and found the source of the smell. Thank you in advance.

Check out the Thetford Aqua Magic Residence, Style II and Style PlusAlso the Dometic 320The optional Hand Sprayer is great for rinsing down-tube  (vs that open cavity)

I think you can add an optional hand sprayer to that toilet.  Give Thetford a call.
