Not cheaper here. Local Interstate shop says their new 6s are "from Trojan" The "ECLs" are the 225AH and the "HCLs" are the 210AH.
They are the replacement line for the previous XHDs from JCI which replaced the previous US Battery U-2200s some years ago. (I got my XHDs in 2011 so it was just before then)
This shop is asking $219 Can (about $164 US) for the ECL and $199 for the HCL. They have dealers around town who might sell them for other lower prices, but these guys try not to under-cut their dealers on price.
A Trojan T-105 sells around here for about $200 Can, so the Interstate ECL is not cheaper here.
