I see what you mean. Maybe the crossover point is at 30%.
I chose the smaller bank approach. With much of the recharging done by solar, my daily drawdowns occur mostly overnight. Roughly, I would say I am around 25% DOD by next morning after a genny recharge day. The daily solar does not replace all of that 25% because I need to run the genny about every 4th morning.
Any, what I do works for me and keeps the R in RV. I don't see any advantage in having a larger bank.
