What is the disagreement? A two week or less trip where solar extends the time that long between recharges to 100% "at home."
If solar maintenance in storage or at home between trips does get them to 100% SOC then that counts the same as plugging in at home between trips and getting to 100%.
How you get to 100% at home/storage doesn't matter. My point was that while camping on battery, your solar is just extending the time before you need to do a recharge, up to one month max for the required 100% recharge.
I am not saying you can't get to 100% on solar alone while camping if you can take the batts off-line to do them. (split bank trick) But that is doing them off-line, which means they are "not while camping" same as at home between trips for that episode.
