The difference that you see 50% to 90% acceptable recharging for a solar system (that's a generator mentality), and I see it as crippling the system and requiring an alternative power source. Solar is so cheap now, it is easy to pay for in cost savings on fuel for a genny, for high use RV's.
Partial charging can work for a part time person--but that doesn't "fit" me any more. If the RV mostly sits in powered storage between trips and if trips are infrequent a genny is the way to go, and you may as well use the bats until the lights go dim. (that's not you or me LOL).
