I think it may turn on the notion whether you are truly getting to 100% while camping off- grid. Just because your controller goes into float before dark, and the Trimetric says you are full (when the Tri uses a fake full more like 97% SOC!) doesn't make it so. SG is difficult to apply what with SG "lag" during recharge. AGMs don't even have SG.
I am saying you are always in a slow decline until the next recharge to 100%. So that means you are on solar assist--the assist is keeping the decline from being more rapid is all.
