You may be confusing two products- Atwood markets the Air Command, a unit made by an Australian company that has been long in the market (plus Atwood is now owned by Dometic).
The Advent brand name was bought and put on a Chinese built DuoTherm clone.
I just installed 2 of the 15k btu Atwood units, and so far they are very nice- low power draw, large capacity, nice thermostat. The 15k btu units are all heat pumps, operating down to ~45 f.
