Atwood dual water heater switch
I drives me stark raving nuts that the switch does not have a light indicating gas or electric is on. It does have a light between the switches but only comes on when there is a fault with the propane...

That's what I did with my Atwood. The switches just switch +12 on and off, but to be safe, make sure yours works the same way. The last I checked, the electric switches for the Suburban heaters directly switch the 120 volt AC element power.
Use a 12 volt led with the exising switch.
