"I noticed the wh having trouble keeping a full flame. It would cycle on, but after a while seemed to almost "choke out" but not quite."
If orifice is clean.........and you have 12V DC power from ECO Red (wires to gas valve) plus spark electrode is firing (strong spark) then gas valve is not opening during spark event (power on gas valve for 6-8 seconds while power goes to spark electrode) AFTER main flame lights power stays on gas valve if proven (main flame generates milivolt signal back to circuit board via spark electrode)
So if you have power to gas valve and no flow/smell of propane then gas valve is not opening.......solenoids bad/valve plugged
