Atwood HE-0801 refrigerator won’t cool

There are no error lights on or flashing. If you look at the control panel, it looks just like it does when it’s working properly. We have AC power but it won’t cool. The manual talks about error messages and indicator lights but gives no advice on what to do if there are none. Any suggestions on where to start?

*Check if the Thermal High Temp Switch on burner Stack is tripped
Should be a Yellow & WHite wires on switch ----12VDC + from circuit board/back to circuit board (J15-1 & J15-2 terminals)
*Verify that the outlet fridge is plugged into actually works
*Got AC at outlet....then need to verify that the 3A fuse on circuit board has AC Voltage both sides of fuse

Can you swap from Auto Mode to AC Manual?
    Does element get hot?
Can you swap from Auto to GAS Manual?
    Does Flame ignite/stay lit?

Atwood did have 'issues' with the control board ---some folks had to have it chnged out 3X
    Unfortunately....parts unavailable now
Atwood HE Models...2012 thru 2016 then discontinued when Dometic acquired Atwood.

    Revised HE Manual
  • The helium fridges were withdrawn.

If it is doa, consider replacing with a residential unit, or converting the existing box to a compressor based cooling system.
  • Hmmmm, always worked for me on just about everything.
Hang in there. I'm sure someone else will think of something.
  • Orderly shut down, and restart.
Shut off the fridge propane/AC power/DC electric if it has it, and anything else that needs AC or DC power, then unplug your trailer/motorhome from shore power for 5 minutes, then plug back in, and power everything back up.
