Hi Westend,
I set it at 230 F. It drew 74 amps, until it reached that temperature then it started to cycle. I could not get a reading from the ammeter on the Magnum remote--so here is what happens in watts 760,120,450,760 (and repeat). I don't know why it cycles like that--and it happens fairly quickly.
It does appear to boil water at the 200 F setting.

What is the 12V draw of that Nuwave plate at boiling temp? I know it's a 120V device, just curious if you've measured it or noticed on your monitor.
