Atwood Stove sparker replacement

We have an Atwood stove. The front burner won't light on its own. No spark. The other two burners spark fine. I removed the front burner and I see the white sparker with the spring, and the connector to the wire leading from the ignitor (the knob on the front you turn to generate the spark).

I cannot figure how to remove the sparker from the burner to be able to replace the sparker. Does it even come out? Wierder things have happened, I suppose.

Thanks in advance-

dave
  • First try to swap wires at the stove front part for one of the burners that does light. If the "dead" burner now sparks, then you know the problem is up front and not at the burner end.
