Except it's not more information it's the same information, How many ways can you say " make sure the outside shower is turned off"
Do you need consensus before you go check to see if it's off? Maybe YOU do.
Old Biscuit's post was more complete and included the new information that the outside AND inside shower faucets should be off. The warm not hot water problem can be caused by leaving the valves open on either shower with only the shower head valve turned off, not just the outside shower as your post stated. Sometimes people post essentially repeated information in a slightly different wording that may make something clearer to the one with the problem, or someone else with a similar problem.
