Smelly Water Heater
What am I missing…..I am on my second truck camper and am experiencing the same issue.
Currently in a brand new 2026 Arctic Fox 1140 and when I turn on the water heater I sometimes, especially at high altitude smell propane under the sink where the water heater is housed. Now as you know, the gas line connects to the WH on the outside. I remove the door on the outside when I camp at high altitude like where I am now a 8,900 ft. The flame is a strong blue but at times I smell propane under the sink….
How is that smell entering the sink area? Isn’t the outside sealed completely from the inside? I don’t smell any propane otherwise.
This was also a problem at times with my previous Eagle Cap.
