+1 for the Tilex Mold and Mildew Remover. I have used Lysol Mold and Mildew remover as well. I like it better, but have not been able to find it this year. I just spray it directly on the awning. By the time I am finished spraying, the first part is all clean. I rarely have to scrub anything. Just rinse afterwards and get it all off. Once at the beginning of the season and then try to put the awning up dry the rest of the season seems to do the trick.
