The above statement is trying to make you believe that a very high percentage of st tire failures is caused either by road hazards or operator error. This just isn`t the case.
Mena - I believe the proof is in the amount of times folks are describing ST failures. You seem to have had good luck....I'm glad for you. Me personally...I have had two ST failures, the last of which was explosive and caused significant trailer damage. You can't tell me ST tires fail at the same rate as the tires on everyday use vehicles. I have driven hundreds of thousands of miles and NEVER had a tire explode, other than the ST's. My opinion is that there is simply a lack of quality control in China and the tires are crap. Further, ST tire failures are unpublicized because, thankfully, no one gets hurt. Therefore, the manufacturers are under no pressure to make the tires better.
