Because what I really want is 3600 to 4000 watts. The only 5000 watt is a Wagman and they have an exceptionally bad reputation. So twin 2000 watts (just like the genny folks) would be pretty close to what I hope to own.
Right now the only reliable units that are inverter only *and* 12 volts are the Samlex, Go Power, etc. But they come in at over $1k in price--and don't quite get me to 3600 watts.
