PT, you can wire two Xantrex Prosine's in series for 120V/240V split phase. If I understand this correctly, it seems this just like 50A service where half your loads are on one phase and the other half are on another phase. Each "half load" is 120V. So you'd essentially get 2000W on each "side". Wire half your AC devices on one side and the other half on the other side.
EDIT: Just checked Prosine pricing, might as well buy a Magnum for the prices they're charging.
