batteries in my 89 pace arrow 37ft John deer chassis

My two coach batteries are dead. They are not 6 v but two marine 12 v . Are two 6v better then 2 12v? I understand series and parallel wiring. I just need to know what type of batteries are best, the ...

Yes, the older Ford Class A gassers were actually John Deere with Ford engines & trans.

As for coach batteries, it depends on your needs. If doing some boondocking then 2ea. GC2 6V golf cart batteries can give you a bit more capacity than 2 12V batteries. If you are normally hooked up while camping then its not an issue.
