Lots of 6s have those three cap things. I don't like them for getting in the way of wires going across batteries so you can't take an hydrometer reading. I always get three individual caps at a battery shop (they have lots from batts being recycled and use your three ways to plug them) instead.
I don't know if they use "temperate zone" electrolyte there or hot zone for baseline SG.
After that shelf life you can have a combo of stratification and sulfation reducing SG. IMO get right on them with at least 15.5 if not higher. Mex said to "top charge" new batteries right away, but he has a special meaning for that--ISTR ?? something short of equalizing but more than a Vabs? Perhaps he will remind us.
