Tried to post some 12 hours earlier, was denied.
In the interim,
SG did respond by 0.005 after a light cycle and lengthy absorption at 14.8v, but then 15 minutes at 16.2v brought both to 1.275 or slightly higher. One battery was slightly lower than other, but now much closer together.
Had to redesign the battery retainment system. The canvas straps the factory used on the 27s are inadequate for the taller somewhat tippier gc-2s.
Will try and remember to borrow a bathroom scale before I wheel them to the Rv.
