They're both the same battery except for terminals. I guess it's up to the type of terminal you prefer.
Frankly, after growing up on a farm with an electric feed cart that used the stud terminals like the T105, and now dealing with a golf cart that has the same %$#@ terminals, I think I'd give the T105RE a try. At least you could use stainless hardware throughout.
