Typical grid tie home inverter SunnyBoy 3000tl-us is $1500. Operates at MPPT so voltage input is VERY flexible. Runs at 500 volts to create 240vac to feed the grid from solar panels set in series. I can't imagine a solar controller to charge this Tesla battery from solar or charge from 120/240 would add much to the cost.
