The rate of self-discharge varies a lot based on the temperature of the battery. In very hot weather, it will be well over 30% in six months. In subzero weather, it's a lot less than that amount. The general rule of thumb (which is reasonably accurate) is that there's a doubling or halving of the rate of self-discharge for every 10 degree Celsius change in storage temperature.
