Came home after a short trip, plugged unit into 50amp shore power. Batteries are not charging. Circuit breaker on the Freedom 528 Inverter continues to pop. Did not have this problem when plugged into shore power on my last trip.
Also, doesn't appear that my batteries are being charged on my generator, or from the engine.
Suggestions?
Taking the unit in next week to have the fixit guy look at it, but would appreciate any insight here.
Thanks.

Two different things now.
1. With no shore power, your alternator charging has no effect. So the DC fuse/DC CB between alternator relay and the battery bank is blown or popped.
How about between battery and DC fuse panel? Lights, fans, etc work with no shore power?
2. With shore power you get no charging from the inverter charger to battery and the inverter CB pops. So the shore power pedestal is likely guilty, because the RV side worked till you got home and plugged in.
Taking the RV to the shop won't fix the pedestal at home, if that is what is popping the inverter breaker.
The generator won't do any good either says in the OP, but it is alternative to the inverter via transfer switch. How would the gen supply 120v to the inverter/charger's charger if the inverter has its CB popped? I don't know how all that works, but could be something there?
If on gen does anything 120v in the RV work or does it all have to go through the inverter first? Sorry no clue about how all that is supposed to work in a big MH, just maybe triggering some thoughts from others who do have a clue.
