I understand it is when charger is raising the voltage to certain "absorbtion voltage", no higher and no lower. Abs voltage is the maximum bulk voltage. You set it up yourself - if your charger allows any setups. The required value you take from OEM manual and what you guts are telling you after having those batts for a while. V Abs "should" be adjusted with temperature. After it has stayed at V Abs for N minutes, the charger "should" reduce the voltage to V Float.
Battery manuals are often written in funny way. Ex., this one mentions "cycle service voltage" instead of Bulk or Abs.
