Hi,
You "dial down" the input amps.
In theory, the charging voltage can be "dialed down" to create the same effect, using the "custom" battery settings. I have not done so.
The Magnum running flat out does not draw 1800 watts for the charger (15 amps of input). If input is set to 22 amps, the Magnum may shut down the charger and requires a reset by removing the power source.
The first time my telecom jars were "hungry" I was using the generator and charging amps went to 127. That did over load the Magnum and I thought I had "hatched" the inverter.
The jars were hungry because I was using a 400 watt oil filled heater to keep warm.

Missed the point! Idea is to get the Magnum to do as many DC output amps as possible while pulling no more than 15a from the generator.
To set the lower input limit on the Magnum, do you set the input or the output?
My 100 amper pulls 15a, so that 125 amper must pull more at 125. How do you get it down to pulling only 15 and what would the Dc output then be?
