Battery Disconnect stopped working

There is a battery disconnect toggle switch next to the side-entry door to coach that use to make a clicking noise and shut everything off.

This switched stopped making a clicking noise recently and the power is currently stuck in the on position. I have checked the coach fuses and all are good.

There is a small metal box next to the batteries under the entry steps that I assume is the disconnect solenoid with power running through it.

Does this need to be replaced? If so, where do I find one? Are there any other steps I can try before spending more money. I have had the RV for less than a week but this just occurred as it functioned fine until yesterday.

Thank you for your help

  • It could be the switch, or a bad ground. You need a volt meter and know how to check things.
    I seldom turn ours off.

The coach batteries are charged. The disconnect switch still does not function.

    Anyone else have any ideas?

    Thanks!
